William L Minott/John T Minott
There is some uncertainty about the identity of the John T Minott,
born in 1889, who appears on a 1900 New York Census record:
(right click etc)
John T is the last on the list of the family's names - born March
1889, aged 11.
However, five years later -
the last name is William, aged 16.
There is a birth record for a son of John and Leonora Minot[t]
in 1889, but only for one. Twins could be a possibility, with one
record gone missing, but it is probably more likely there was
only the one son, for some unknown reason recorded with his
father's name in 1900.
There are no later references to a John T Minott jnr, but there
are two references to William L: he wrote a poem when his
sister Ada died in1914, and it was to his place in New York
that his mother went in 1923, just before she died.

William L Minott continued to work with, and support his sister, though there is no indication of his occupation otherwise. There are references to him into the late 1930s, but so far nothing more.
